 		This XLL contains functions for Foucault test data reduction useful to amateur telescope makers.
  • Enter the mirror diameter, f/#, number of zones, and the Foucault test measurements for each zone; the spreadsheet will do the following:
  • Calculate the center of curvature offset that minimizes the maximum transverse aberration
  • Calculate the maximum transverse aberration
  • Calculate the center of curvature offset that minimizes the wavefront error
  • Calculate the wavefront error versus zonal radius
  • Generate plots: Foucault test plot, Millies-LaCroix plot, WFE versus zonal radius, and WFE/TA versus center of curvature offset

Example workbooks with plots are included.
